Black Panther 2 News on lead casts

Director Ryan Coogler paid his homage to the lead star of the first movie of this series to the Late actor Chadwick Boseman who passed away in 2020. He said, Chad’s passing affected filmmakers and the actors in a way that was incredibly profound. Chad was very much our artistic partner in this project, in this franchise and in this storytelling. I would spend time with him, just he and I, talking about where we wanted to see the character go, where we wanted to see the story go, and how much he admired the other characters and the actors who portrayed them. We realized that it would only be right for us to continue the story.”

Black Panther 2: Unfolding the plot

Angela Bessett and Letitia Wright who happen to be a part of the Black Panther 2 cast, just like the previous edition, have been portrayed as the mother and sister of the Late T’Challa in the movie and have put in exemplary performances in this movie, as confirmed by the critics. Both the performers are said to be rising up to the occasion in their characters Ramonda and Shuri respectively after the late Chadwick Boseman ruled the screen almost single-handedly in the first one. The glimpse of the same can be rightly seen in the Black Panther 2 trailer.

Homage to the Late Chadwick Boseman

The late actor who unfortunately will no more be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Black Panther 2, was also the creative partner for the project. The Black Panther 2 News made public by the Director of the movie, told in a media interaction that the late actor had been the showstopper of the project apart from being casted in the lead role as King T’Challa.
