The movie, as he name suggests is the sequel to the Hindi crime thriller with the same name starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Shriya Saran among others. Storyline
The movie starts after a 7-year timeline from where it ended in the prequel with Vijay Salgaonkar and his family, who are yet to recover from the trauma of the incident that took place 7 years ago. The movie delves into the quest of the investigating authority’s pursuit in resolving the case and Vijay’s quest to save his family.

The director follows the same pattern just like his predecessor. In the first half, the director slowly creates and aura of suspense and takes it to its peak in the second half involving all the characters. All the characters contribute to heighten the suspense and that’s what makes the audience glued to their seats. It plays with the minds of the audience developing multiple threads as the movie traverses towards the climax leaving the audience in awe. The background music couldn’t have been better and plays its part in building up the suspense throughout the movie. In a nutshell, the movie does justice to its previous version which is a very rare feat to achieve. It is one of those movies that engages its audience long after the movie ends and that’s what makes the movie special.
