Maarich movie review

The movie fails on all aspects a motion picture can be judged on. Be it the suitability of the person casted as the lead protagonist, the storyline or the screenplay for that matter failed to live up to the expectations created by its predecessors in this genre. In fact, it is not even close to being a movie worth mentioning or recommending. In the age of premium contents showcased in the OTT platforms, this movie seems to be a total misfit. The seasoned actors like Naseeruddin Shah or Rahul Dev have been grossly under-utilized and it’s the dialogues and the director who is to be blamed for this fiasco. For the same reason, the occasional comic reliefs, which works so well in other movies of similar genres, fails to create even the slightest of appeals. The plot too is very predictable which again doesn’t help , especially with the other aspects of the movie leaves a lot to be desired. As a result, the movie fails to connect with the audience even to the slightest degree, resulting in a total waste of resources.
