Scoop Web Series Review – The storyline

The storyline for the Scoop Web Series Review narrative deals with the exploits of a female investigative journalist Jagruti Pathak, played by Karishma Tanna who defies all odds in pursuit of the truth. Her exploits make her land up in judicial custody, pending trial for challenging the system and exposing the loopholes of the law enforcement and investigative agencies apart from the police and mafia nexus.

Woven around it is a wide-ranging depiction of how the media, the police, the law and the underworld operate, often in consonance, to corner anybody who dares to go ferreting for inconvenient truths. The daylight murder of a seasoned crime reporter, a malicious media trial of a younger scribe arrested for her alleged involvement in the killing and the machinations of the crime branch are the three principal strands of a story that seeks to expose, without going overboard, the sharp decline of Indian journalism in recent decades.

Scoop Web Series Review – The review

The storyline of the series does captivate the audience to a great extent, especially in the beginning, as the plot unfolds. However, while nearing the end, it becomes very predictable. The script tends to lose its power of retaining the audience’s attention while it nears the end, but overall, it is definitely a recommended watch. Karishma Tanna has been impeccable in her portrayal as the lead protagonist in the series and she can be considered the USP as far as the Scoop Web Series Review is concerned.

The overall crew, along with the director has done their bit to portray the story which is tantalizingly close to reality, and has been very much successful in doing so as a team.
