Cameron Diaz is set to bid goodbye to the silver screen for parenthood after the next venture with Jamie Foxx production, “ Back In Action”. It is being widely believed that Foxx has coaxed her to pause her current retirement plans for the flick on Netflix and the fact that this would be her lone venture before resuming her retirement from the celluloid endeavors.

As Cameron is currently busy with her parenthood pursuits, she has been invited back to the silver screen by the infamous Hollywood actor and producer, Jamie Foxx. The infamous female lead last appeared on screen in the movie “Annie” released in 2014 and has been away from the screen since then.
Cameron Diaz is back for a reason
The current news comes from Media sources that confirm that the comeback can be majorly attributed to the much-discussed “Meltdown” of Jamie Foxx on the sets that had resulted in 3 individuals being fired from the production work. To ensure that the current project gets completed to the satisfaction of the stakeholders in the movie, Jamie Foxx has turned back to her long-term co-star Cameron Diaz to seek her involvement.
Cameron and Foxx do share a cordial professional relationship and incidentally, her last movie “ Annie” had Jamie as her co-star apart from working together in Oliver Stone’s “ Any Given Sunday”.
However, Cameron seemed to be visibly elated about her post-maiden-retirement production and confirms before the media that “I know. Literally. I was like, ‘Hey, guys, so what is the title of this?’ And they’re like, ‘Back in Action.’ I was like, ‘Oh!’ I’m really feeling very connected to this character already. I’m both (nervous and excited). You know, it’s a little bit of muscle memory, you know what I mean? Sort like, I did that for so long, it’s kind of like the process, I kind of just fell back into it. But, it kind of feels a bit different.”
