Death of Sushant Singh Rajput
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Bandra residence on 14th July 2020 under mysterious circumstances. 3 years into the incident, CBI is yet to file the charge sheet or close the case and at the same time remains very much reluctant in sharing the details of the incident or the investigation in public. As per the news and social media critics, Admirers and fans of the late actor remembered him on social media, with one of them saying, “3 Years Of Injustice To Sushant. Black Day 14 June. Miss you real hero Sushant Singh Rajput,” wrote a supporter who reportedly thinks the star was murdered.
Another individual commented that “Sushant Singh Rajput was gifted & impossible to forget. We are keeping him alive till the end of this case & beyond. We’re not letting the incident die off,..today marks the black day in the Indian judicial system too because it denied an innocent his basic fundamental right to justice & above all it is happening in a democratic country where we say the law is equal for all .”
The Bandra Police had initially registered an Accidental Death Report in the incident and had interviewed quite a few individuals mostly from the film fraternity in Mumbai. The post-mortem report too, corroborated suicide to be the cause of the death. However, the reason behind the suicide has not yet seen the light of the day and the same might remain so going forward.
Various theories had been making rounds since Sushant Singh Rajput’s death succeeded the death of his assistant Disha Salian on 8th June 2020. However, the Mumbai Police failed to establish any foul play in both the deaths.
