The sleepiness in our body is contributed to the fact that the adenosine levels rise during the day which makes the body feel tired and that what contributes as reason for excessive sleeping.

For those who are haunted by “always sleepy no matter how much sleep I get”, a healthy lifestyle governed by discipline happens to be the best coping mechanism. Implementing habits like having a fixed bedtime while avoiding late night shifts and following the same on a regular basis is one of the foremost things to be included as a part of the lifestyle. Also, avoiding caffeinated drinks before bedtime or any kind of stimulant also helps in regularizing the sleeping cycle.  Apart from the above measures, avoiding food that takes time to digest before bedtime can also be a good practice to follow.
